If you ever used a Microsoft program, like Word, e.g., there are "macros" to automate repetive inputs, such as
"Cordially yours, Your name Your address Your Location, zip code"
You can do this with one/two keystokes using a "macro". It saves you a ton of time for repetitive tasks.
In games, such as EVE, a macro is used by a total loser using a computer program to perform game functions, so these people--mostly pychotics--have no real life, and believe that everybody else in EVE is out to get them, and they need more ISK and more ships and better mods than everybody else in the universe, and if they don't, they will be put into slavery by Amarr trained mutants who will do totally weird and gross, painful things to them, so they get grey hair and ulcers and are in a perpetual state of panic mode trying to earn more ISK every way they can, they can't go to sleep because they are working overtime to pay for a second, a third and fourth account to use more macros with more accounts to make more ISK as the fear grows to an extreme level that somebody else has more than they do, but eventually, they lose their job due to their bizzare behavior at and breaking work rules, and these pathetic s****do not understand the difference between a game and real life and have no idea what a game is anymore, and the fun and challenge of just playing a game is foreign to them, and just like this paragraph here that contains a long "run-on" sentence with improper punctuation and way to many "ands" just keeps going and going, so to do the deplorable, pitiful and wretched s****who use macros keep going and going and feel that if they can't be in the game, then damn, my macros will be in the game for me all the time on and on and going and going, so instead of just playing the game like sane and normal people do, these creeps instead use a computer program (a "macro") to play for them, and we all should hope that these trashy, insane sleazebags that should be in rehab (as they have lost touch with reality and what a game is) stay in rehab for the rest of their feeble, paltry lives and are never allowed to touch a computer game again.
